Smoking and Dangerous Artery Disease

Share |

Did you know as a smoker you are THREE to FOUR times more likely to develop artery disease?

It is called Peripheral artery disease and happens when plaque builds up in your body’s main artery, and your legs and arms.

This increases your chances of a stroke or heart attack. If your arteries become clogged you are in the danger of having severe leg circulation problems which can require amputation.

Another good reason to stop smoking.
